NeuroTransmitiendo

My career in psychology and neuroscience has always been linked to my passion for effective communication. This led me to co-found NeuroTransmitiendo, a project dedicated to communication and education in human behavior, with a particular focus on the Latin American context.

In 2019, together with a team of colleagues, we identified a critical gap in the representation and communication of topics related to human behavior, neuroscience, and mental health in our region. Far too often, these topics were either misunderstood or trivialized, resulting in a landscape full of misinformation.

Founded as an Argentine NGO, NeuroTransmitiendo’s mission is to provide accurate, in-depth, and accessible information about human behavior, neuroscience, and mental health. Our initiative quickly rose to prominence, becoming the largest Latin American community dedicated to disseminating scientific knowledge about human behavior (with over 20,000 followers) and debunking common myths about mental health, including key issues such as suicide, anxiety, and depression.

To achieve these goals, we create content on Instagram through informative posts and use our podcast to interview renowned neuroscientists from across Latin America. I contribute to the podcast as an interviewer and general producer, delving into a wide range of topics in the field of neuroscience.
